When a group of concerned citizens set out to put together a grassroots website protesting the recent federal bailouts, they specifically wanted to hire the team behind HucksArmy.com. After asking around, it didn’t take long to find out that Company 52 was behind the HucksArmy development.

Hired to manage the strategy, design, engineering and development of the site as well as the social networking integration we began with in-depth conversations with the client to grasp their vision. After an exchange of emails and a phone conversation, we began production on Phase 1 of the Right.org grassroots movement, which included comprehensive planning and engineering of the website.

The Right.org folks were in a hurry, wanting to launch the site before President Obama’s inauguration. In all, we had 4 weeks to go from idea to completion. After the site was launched we implemented an SEO strategy that made their site the number one search result on google and all the rage on the blogs. We also executed a social media campaign that led to more than 2 million hits and the broad distribution of our flash widget The Bailout Calculator.

Project also included: creating a petition for visitors to sign, a Flash-based “bailout calculator” widget for others to include on blogs / websites, getting to the front page of Digg, Facebook & Twitter integration, a video contest, and even more features still to come
